Trilateral Research have a fantastic opportunity for a Research Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality, professional, efficient, and timely administrative and operational support to the Research Department.

What are your responsibilities?
Operational Management Support:
Support Innovation & Research (I&R) management with operational tasks such as handling information requests, sending updates to internal and external stakeholders, and planning meetings and trainings.
Support I&R capacity management and utilisation analysis.
Content collation and preparation of presentations for the Research department.
Develop, maintain, administer and improve administrative Policies and Procedures according to business requirements.
Set and share agendas for department meetings and when allocated take meeting minutes and action items to revisit.
Administrative support to coordinated projects:
Create, maintain and collect accurate project documentation for assigned projects to support accurate reporting, monitoring /scheduling, and risk assessment.
Support the organisation of project meetings and events by coordinating activities, documenting meeting minutes, assignments and project communications.
Support project reporting and reviews.
Communicate with project partners on task and deliverable timelines and review cycles for completion.
General Administration:
Monitor and manage daily, weekly and monthly research administration activities.
Manage and update relevant I&R tracking documents and tools.
Audit and carry out regular maintenance of department designated SharePoint folders and files and ensure updates are carried out by relevant team members.
Support cross-departmental activities including collaborating with and supporting the research finance team during busy periods.
Ensure written and verbal communication is carried out with all stakeholders in an effective and efficient manner.

General knowledge and technical skills
Essential:
Intermediate level of experience with MS office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
Good analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong English written and verbal communication abilities.
Proven team working skills and ability to collaborate.
Desirable:
Project administrative/management experience is an advantage.
Experience using project management software.
Required education and experience
Essential:
A minimum of two years' administration experience in a fast-paced environment.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Desirable:
Experience working in an interdisciplinary team.
Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Knowledge of/experience in European Commission funding schemes.

Location: This position is open to candidates based in the Republic of Ireland.
Contract type: 1 year Fixed Term Contract
Start date: ASAP
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Hours: Full-time
