HR Administrator 
Location: London, UK OR Waterford, Ireland (Hybrid) | Type: Permanent | Start: ASAP | Hours: Full-time | Salary: Commensurate with experience 

 

Are you an organised, detail-focused HR professional with a passion for people and purpose? We’re looking for an HR Administrator to join our people-first HR team. You'll play a vital role in supporting the full employee lifecycle and ensuring we continue to offer a first-class HR experience across our growing business. 

As this role is intended to be hybrid in nature, the successful candidate must be located in commuting distance of either our Central London office in the UK or our Waterford Office in Ireland.

What you will do 

Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to: 

 

HR Administration 

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (using Employment Hero and Dropbox mainly) 

  • Prepare employment contracts, letters, and documentation aligned with legislation and company standards 

  • Support smooth onboarding/offboarding, including IT coordination, system access, and documentation 

  • Respond professionally to HR queries from managers and staff 

  • Track and maintain HR policies, templates, and SOPs 

  • Assist with monthly HR data reports (headcount, absence, attrition) 

 

Payroll & Compliance Support 

  • Notify payroll of changes (absence, hours) 

  • Help with audits, right-to-work checks, GDPR compliance, and reporting 

  • Generate reliable, accurate reports for HR and Finance 

 

HR Projects 

  • Contribute to ongoing HR improvement projects 

  • Test and support new tools and processes to help our HR function evolve 

 

Job requirements

What you bring 

Essential: 

  • Previous experience in an HR admin/coordinator role or similar (minimum 1 year) 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel & Word) 

  • Meticulous attention to detail and high standards for data accuracy 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently and as part of a team 

  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive data

  • Curiosity about how tech can transform HR for the better and adaptability using new tech

Desirable: 

  • Level 3 qualification in HR, Business, Administration or interest in pursuing related qualifications 

  • Experience with HRIS & ATS systems (e.g. Employment Hero, Recruitee are our platforms) 

  • Knowledge of UK and/or Irish employment law 

  • Basic payroll knowledge 

  • Project coordination/management experience
